tunnel rams

Post by Way2fast »

Hi. Question Right now i`m running the Speedway Motors triple Super 7 set up on my 307 SBC.. My issue with them is that 1 of the 3 will have float issue about every 2 months. Right now, my fuel pressure regulator is set at 1 lb. So, Im thinking of getting rid of them and putting a single carb on a tunnel ram. Your thoughts?

Tunnel rams definitely look cool, but can be a pain to get tuned correctly. If you plan to keep the 307, here's an article by Jeff Smith that outlines some ways to get the most out of that little SBC.

Thanks. I do plan to keep it because it was rebuilt a little while ago. I'll check out the article.
