I have used Verizon cell phones forever but the cost for the two of us has exceded $160.00 month for smart phone service, I have been receiving ads for consumer celluar which operates on the AT&T network for less than a hundred a month, is anyone using them and what do you think of their service?

I have been using AT&T for quite a long time Bill. All companies will run specials to lure competitive users over but you need to stay on top of them and when the special nears expiration be prepared to negotiate with them for the better rates. THEY WILL nrgotiate to keep your business. While many will say they have total coverage, none of them really do. They lease tower usage for the areas where they don't own the servicing area. Just part of the break up of the baby bells... I am very pleased with the level of service I get from AT&T and and I travel all over the country at times with little lapse in service. This is a rate plan through AARP and it isn't a special it is their normal rate. They only offer 3G service but I can live with that. I just don't know if they do everything they say they will.

I think the AT&T network will be fine I was hopeing that someone has had dealings with Consumer Cellular and what they thought of them.
