I don't know why this video isn't working, but a buddy of mine came down from Cohoes (north of Albany) today, diagnosed my problems, and now I once again have a great working motor. This gives me incentive to keep at what I'm doing. Even better, he has offered to help me switch a jag hub into a new carrier maybe next Thursday night. Things are good, but my honey is calling for some work to get done upstairs, NOT in the garage. Gotta run...

Thanks Lee! I am very unthused. That's my good friend Chris Miller in the video. My google is always like that, has the extra "s". It causes me problems from time to time, but I'm told it's more secure?

If I'm lucky (in a number of ways...), I may have this project done in 2015. Never worry, I'll keep y'all posted. Still got a long road ahead...

No silly fellow. If ya look at the bottom of my video post, Lee fixed the video so it worked. I wondered if it was the "s", but Lee knew it was and fixed it so ya can here that wee 406 idle! I do know the difference between you two...

Maybe work on the t a little later if I can get through the honey-does and my back cooperates. Gotta keep at it, summer weekends are already piling up with stuff.

What was the motor problem, That Chris fixed?

Bunch of stuff Mark. First thing he noticed was the TV cable wasn't hooked up correctly. Second thing was the vacuum plug on the front of the carb had deteriorated. The adjustment screw for the stuff on the driver's side needed help. It sure sounded good when he was done doing his stuff.

I ran the gas out of it later, stripped all the fuel, electrical, vacuum and cables off it, along with the carb and mounted my puller. Still need to unhook the radiator and let the motor drain, then hook up my hoist and unbolt the motor and tranny. I think I have enough room in front of the T to pull both at once. We'll see. Got a day job and plenty of other things demanding my time, plus we leave for a 10 day vacation a week from this coming Tuesday.

My buddy is coming back when I re-install it, help me get it set up good, run new fuel lines, stuff like that. I am real lucky to have a guy that loves and knows small blocks so well helping me. He's just a cool dude. Has an immaculate hot rod Chevelle and a couple Harleys.
