Yup, safety washers on all my heims ends. Gonna need a lot of new hardware, bolts and lock nuts!

I used plain 5/8 flat washers, and never had a problem Not as pretty as those nice ones. I gotta look into that!

I just use plain flat 5/8 washers too..........Them other ones are pretty but, they also sell chrome flat washers if you want them...........The safety washer Mark is incase you have a hiem failure it stays together long enough to get to the shop or trailer....at least you should be alive..........

As of tonight, I have both control arms, 1/2 axles, hubs, all 4 coil overs off. Doing great!

Got the tranny in a little rolling wood crib I made, and the motor on a stand. Still need to get the headers off, but no big deal today, just wanted it on a stand. My back needs a break!



Wonder how much I should ask for the TH350? It always worked great, and bled nice bright red fluid coming out today. Also, I have a high rpm torque converter for it that I don't think I can use with my 700R4. Don't actually have the 700R4 in my grimy little paws yet, but will after vacation in April. Also, wonder what to ask for the headers?

That frees up the engine hoist, which I may use to lift the body off the chassis.

Took last night to just clean up, organize tools. label wires, seal up my 414 c.i. small block and fog the cylinders. Stripped and labeled all the wiring off the front. Got to figure out where to put the body. Need to get some stuff out of my garage!
