We even WALKED to a restaurant because traffic was SO CONGESTED, not because we were tired of DRIVING!!

If you didn't have fun with me there in Tenn., then you don't know what fun is!! I'll out talk anybody without telling a lie, except the lady at Bushes Cafe'. All is good in life when you are with family and friends!! Actions speak louder than words. And to all the Bucket Heads that I had never met before, I say welcome and please come as often to any gathering that the NTBA has or any other gathering of hot rods around the country. Someone may show up with another Bucket. Pictures I didn't take enough of and I apologize for not having taken them of all who attended this great event. And as for names, WHEW-- what a list I could say but just can't remember them all!! CRS is a B     when you don't see everyone enough every year. CANNOT forget Denis and Rose/ Reese and Brenda/ Jim and his wife and 2 daughters, which all are fun to be around. Until we meet again--ADU

No--- we followed Lou and Mary Beth with a hand held GPS system and didn't get lost once, but we were at a snails pace at times-- sometimes Lou and sometimes traffic and others times with tree trimming and power pole replacement.
Lou did a great job in being the leader of the pack and Ron the tail dragger with the car hauler. As for Denis--- he said he didn't want to be the leader anymore, it was more fun following some one else that gets lost so he could rub it in with them. He is a good sport and a hell of a nice guy. If you don't believe me, ask him, he'll tell you the same thing. Rose will too!!!

If you get lost in the eastern Mtns. of Tenn. or N.C. you will only see some of the most beautiful country in the WORLD before you find your way back to your destination. Some times getting lost can be the best part of a ride. Not knowing/ or caring where you go is the best part of life to anyone that is not tied down by the inconveniences of every day life.

You can go every weekend for the rest of your life, no matter what age that is, and never see all that is historical/beautiful/interesting/unexplained in N.C. alone, much less the rest of the U.S. Pick a destination and go for your health and age will stop you one day.

Bruce,
Sorry about the snail's pace, but I guess I am over cautious. Our GPS did indicate a speed that was lower than our speedometer, so I will be looking into correcting that. I give all the Credit for not getting lost to First Officer Maribeth and GPS Karen. All I have to do is follow their instructions. Warning! - don't ever follow Dennis and Rose. Even if they know where they are going (not the usual case) they will run off and leave you at the first opportunity like Dennis did to me in Ocala. Luckily I had Karen with me and she got me back to the motel, no thanks to Dennis.
